Alright. So lately, I’ve been saving up to purchase a MacBook. But, I realized that the cost of one is way out of my league. So, I’ve decided to spend my current savings on purchasing a domain of my very own!

I’ve decided on everything I’m going to do:
Domain: http://www.enveere.org
Registered at: Namecheap.com
Cost: $8.88
Perks: Free WHOIS protection on 1 domain

Domain Host: Cirtexhosting.com
Cost: $4.50 / month
Perks: Unlimited DOMAINS/SUBDOMAINS

TOTAL COST: $13.38 USD, which is $15.57 Canadian.

So, I’m looking at almost $14.00 for my domain. But, I have $17.56 saved up! This means that I could get it, TODAY. But the thing is… this whole process requries a credit card. You see, I would use PayPal with my bank account, but I am going to be changing banks in July, and I don’t want to have to switch everything over with PayPal; I don’t really trust them, I don’t know why. So, I’m going straight to the source. Purchasing everything from my Mom’s credit card, right at the website. Hopefully, we can do this tonight, or maybe tomorrow. We’ll see how everything goes. I’m not sure why my Mom doesn’t want me to have a domain, she thinks people will be able to get a hold of my personal information. But, that’s why I’m going with Namecheap, they have free WHOIS protection, meaning noone is going to get a hold of any personal information of mine. Woot!

Site related: A couple of tutorials are up. I’m not sure why, I plan on making the big switch soon enough. But, I guess WordPress can just import everything from this blog, right? Woohoo.

I talked to my Mom, and she said that on the 26th, we will get the domain and everything. 10 Days!
